Content: Clear and cold Armistice day a shooting match at Thorsens. Self went away looking for the Cattle and found them down by the Post River fool of drift ice 5 below this Morning, and very cold this evening I hear that Mr Birly arrvd at the Ferry Landing with his new Thanery outfit but as the Ferry has been pulled out he will not be able to get his Machinery over until the Ice gets strong
