Content: W.T.L Esquire HBC Edmonton Dear sir I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letters of 15th and 30th or March also 21st and 22nd of april which I just received by the S S Peace River on the 17th of this month. At the same time the valuation tariff came to hand the trade has been very late here this spring as some of the Indians have only just come in from the North therefor I cannot ship the furs before the second trip of the steamer I am glad to say that we have done fairly well the past month and I expect that this Post ought to make a fairly good profit Taylor has done much better than last year but as he has got to much dept out to make a profit June 17 monthly statement also cash account
