Content: Copy W.T.L Dear sir I enclose here in the monthly statement also Cash statement for the month of december which I hope you will find correct I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letters of Oct 6th and 12 also 4th + 5th of November which I recieved here on the 4th of January the fur trade as you will by the statement is very poor quite a number of Bear have been killed but as the opposition is paying a much higher price for Bears they have bought nearly all of them I have not heard from Hudsons Hope in some but I will start for their at once I would have gone up sooner but I could not get away from this Yours faithfully FWB
