Content: W.T.L. Dear I enclose here in a copy of of supplies given to Mr. R A parker who arieved her from Victoria with a letter of credit number 08/3 this letter called for supplies in B.C. District but as Mr Parker had no other means of procurring supplies I let him have enough to take him through to Dunvegan I have first returned from the North Pine Post as per instructions from the Inspector Mcleod I have taken in all the dry goods but the tea + lilacs + ammunition I have left their I will make arrangements to meet the indians hometown this winter for myself I think it is a mistake in closing that post as I am certain we would have the Nelson Indians their it is the only good fur county left last winter MacDonald certainly made poor showing as there was very few Indians their afford for a new store to be put up purchased cost about 350.00 New Building frame FWB
