Content: W.T.L Dear sir inclosed here in you Will find the monthly statements for the month ending sept 30th also the N.W.M. Police account certified by the constable in charge which I hope will prove correct I also beg to acknowledge the recipet of your letter 21st 22nd from 27th august it is encouraging to see that the company has not forgot their old servants Brakers notes I am sorry to see that I have made a mistake in last years fur packing I am always very perticular in fur packing per instructions with regard to Fur Pakcing and grading of furs shall be attended to Hudsons Hope Post I am glad to report to you that the Buildings of that Post are now finished they are good substantial buildings Opposition I think will be strong here this year they have a very large outfit south hear and at H. Hope. and they are making great inticements to get hold of the Indians. Furs Lynx and bear seem rather plentiful but other fur I am afraid will be scarce this winter.
