29   The ladies of the parish have organised [sic] an apron and pantry sale, in St. Augustine Hall on behalf of the Church. The sale took place this afternoon. Good result. About $65 were cleared up.
Nov.   4 Fath. Sylla comes back from Canmore and will stay with is for a fortnight.
5   Fath. Meyer goes to Taber, and for the first Taber [written in pencil in the margin] time he will offer the holy sacrifice in a Church newly built by the Congregation.
   Father Sylla goes to Burdet.
7.   Fath. Rosenthal leaves this afternoon by the 3,30 train. He is going to Calgary to submit the plans of the new Church to the approval of his Lordship Bishop Legal. From Calgary he will go down to Midnapore with the Bishop, Fath. Grandin A several other fathers, to the effect of attending at the blessing of the Lacombe’s Home.
10   Fath. Rosenthal is back, after a very good trip. He has witnessed the nice and impressing ceremony of the blessing of the Home at Midnapore. The building in itself is fine and well completed and will be opened from now as asylum to the old and homeless people.
   The plans of the new Church, drawn up by Mr. Hopkins, architect of Edmonton, have been approved by the Bishop. Every body finds those plans magnificent and truly superior and a few days before they have been chosen unanimously, by the members of the Building committee.
12   Fath. Sylla goes to Milk River and Fath. Meyer to Grassy Lake.

14   This afternoon at three o.clock meeting of the Building Committee at the office of L.M. Johnstone. Every one feels satisfied that the plans are been approved of by the Bishop. After a careful review of these plans and intelligent discussion of ways and means, the committee authorized and instructed the secretary. Mr. Powers, to get details and prices on materials, and also authorized the Hon. L. M. Johnstone to draw up and enter into all necessary agreements with the architect Mr. Hopkins.
15   Regular meeting of the K. of C. It was decided that a suscription [sic] would be started at once in the parish, on behalf of the new Church. Mr. J. Kennedy Grand Knight, and J.J. Doyle, volunteered to got first and sollicit [sic] those subscriptions from the most prominent of our parishioners. After, the parish will be divided into different districts and several committees of two members will be appointed to visit those districts, with the list of the first and most prominent suscribers [sic] in hand.
16   Rev. Fath. Sylla leaves us to go back to his dear mountains, and attend to the spiritual necessities of his flock.
17   The Ladies of the Altar Society have held their last social in the Caledonian Hall. It was a succesful [sic] one. Over a hundred people were present to play the progressive Euchre. The musical programme [sic] has been very highly appreciated and all agreed to say that it was the best one ever executed up to now in those social meetings. At the end, Mrs. J. Kennedy, W. English and P. Lecieux gave chosen song always listened to with pleasure in such circumstances.
