Abstract: Dr. Brasser, Plains Ethnologist with the National Museum of Man, was associated with the Dutch National Museum of Ethnology until 1970. He played an important role in the acquisition of the German Speyer collection of Indian artifacts by the National Museuems of Canada in 1973.
